Mena Alexandera Suvari is an American actress, model and fashion designer. Born on 13 February 1979. Soon after her first job as a model, she moved into acting, after appearing in guest roles on 1990's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She made her film debut in the 1997 drama film Nowhere. Following her appearance in American Beauty (for which she received a BAFTA Award) and American Pie that attracted greater attention, she began her move into more prominent parts. She has appeared with the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) before starring as the lead character for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun and Trauma, the thriller from 2004 was her second appearance. The other films she appeared in include HBO's drama Six Feet Under. In 2008, she included in a variety of films, including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the adaptation film to The Garden of Eden. Suvari was featured in numerous fashion blogs and magazines and blogs, such as Vogue. Suvari is an official Lancome model, and is featured on the advertisements printed in Lancome Paris Adaptive. Suvari has been a defender and advocate for the African Medical and Research Foundation, a prestigious charity that offers aid to Africans.
